Chapter 100
The plane was on a private flight route belonging to the Somerset family.
Since this route wasn't a secret only Prescott knew, the entire flight was on high alert. A journey that would've taken just over ten hours ended up dragged out to twenty-one before finally landing.
They didn't touch down at Prescott's estate though.
It was a remote island.
"Miss Harrington, please get in the car," Beckett said, noticing Camila spacing out as she stared at the surroundings.
The modified bulletproof vehicle was airtight, and the second she got in, Camila felt like she couldn't breathe.
"Apologies, Miss Harrington. It's a bit stuffy, but this is all for your safety," Beckett said softly, assuming she was uncomfortable inside and trying to reassure her.
"I understand. Thank you." Camila meant to smile politely at him, but she realized she just couldn't.
She was exhausted. The over twenty-hour flight, on top of the chaotic events before departure, had completely worn her out.
She hadn't slept a wink
