Camila suddenly noticed there was another man standing behind Beckett-a tall, lean guy around thirty, cold aura and full of edge. His face was almost too good-looking, sharp and distant, with gold-rimmed glasses that somehow gave his arrogant vibe a strange touch of refinement. It shouldn't have worked, yet on him, it oddly did.
Though he was talking to her, the guy's eyes never left Sullivan, staring him down like he wanted to cut through him with his gaze. Even through the glasses, that dangerous glint was crystal clear.
