Eileen's POV "Jason is here," Alex said, his voice low and serious. My heart stopped. I stood frozen, my heart racing like a jackrabbit as I processed the words my brother had just spoken. "Alex, did ... Did I hear you correctly?" I asked, my voice shaking like a leaf in a hurricane. I felt like I'd been punched in the gut, my breath knocked out of me. "Yes, Eileen, you did," Alex replied, his tone urgent, his words tumbling out in a rush. "Jason is here in Blackwood Pack, and we don't know what he wants. But we do know he did not coming alone. He's got a bunch of rough-looking wolves with him, and they look like they mean business." I would have stumbled and fallen to the ground if I wasn't seated on my bed. My eyes widened I'm fear and shock and I felt speechless. Jasonm what could he be doing I'm Blackwood's pack, I was sure he was there for me, but why. My eyes suddenly widened, Amber! He had casted us out and refused to acknowledge her as his daughter but she was still his child.
