Chapter 6

Samantha left to attend to other things. She had to as she was the only staff there. Cassandra was ready to abuse her sister more. Suddenly a huge box was delivered to her room. It was full of nude photos of her and it had a threatening letter alongside it. The letter said that if she marries Peter, her indecent photos and videos will be played at the wedding. "Mom, what should I do?" Cassandra was crying as she shivered with fright. "Cassandra, you fucking idiot! How many times did you cheat on him?" Fiona scolded her harshly she was infuriated with her daughter's actions, "You have the greatest man a woman could ever dream of! How could you do this to him?" "I have been with Peter for four years, but he never laid a finger on me. He said he wanted to wait until we were married," Cassandra wiped her tears and said distressed. "I can't help it. I'm a normal woman, I want it sometimes!" "Why don't you go take a shower with bleach then?" Fiona beat her aching head and walked back and forth. "I don't know what he'll do to you if he finds out." "Mom, I don't want to die!" Cassandra cried out of shock. If Peter knew that she was cheating on him, he would definitely kill her! He wouldn't allow his dignity and reputation to be tarnished. "Don't cry! Let me think." Fiona thought for a few seconds, and suddenly her eyes lit up. "I have an idea." "Well, what is it?" Cassandra stopped crying at once she was curious, what could they possibly do to fix this? Fiona smiled like a fox, and said word for word, "Let Samantha marry him and have her take the blame." "No way!" Cassandra exploded, her nose twitched and she pointed at her angrily, "Mom, I'm not giving Peter to her!" "Nonsense!" Fiona slapped her hand away. "You're my daughter! We are going to have her take the blame and shame and we'll do it to protect you. Do you understand?" "I don't care!" Cassandra kicked her legs like a child throwing a tantrum, "I would rather have her killed! I would give this opportunity to anyone else but her!" "Sweetheart, do you think I'm serious in letting her marry him? This is an opportunity to get rid of her!" Fiona worked hard to reason with her daughter, she took out a bottle of green medicine from the safe. "This is Guaiguai water. When she drinks this, she will be obedient and she will temporarily lose her memory. Afterwards, she won't remember anything, she won't be able to say anything." Cassandra regained her self-confidence. "Fine, I'll do it. Anything to make him mine." "You just have to drink this and pretend to be innocent the whole time." Fiona mixed the medicine into a drink and stirred it evenly, she instructed her daughter, "Get rid of all the men you slept with and find the bastard who sent this threat. Spend all of your money if you have to, Peter can't find out about this in any other way." "I understand." "When the time comes, give this to Samantha so she can marry Peter." Cassandra took it but she then realized. "But mom, how can I make her drink this? I just threw her to the ground earlier, she must be on guard." "We send it to her. If your dad delivers it personally, she will definitely feel relieved. Your dad has given her money in the past few years." After setting up her daughter, Fiona took the green medicine to find her husband. It was March at the time, the peach blossoms were starting to bloom as spring drew near. In the prosperous and historic Zhongzhou City, a grand Chinese wedding attracted the eyes of many. By the side of the road, Pearl lifted Daniel up so he could see better, she remarked, "This is a real high-end wedding, the decorations go for miles." "Why can't I see the bride yet?" Daniel raised his eyebrows, and there was a disappointment in his eyes. "What do you know about weddings? You can look like a bride wearing a handkerchief. Danny, when your uncle Xu marries your mom, he will also hold a Chinese wedding." "No, I don't want that," Daniel shook his head and said solemnly. "Chinese weddings don't have a ring bearer, what should I do then?" "Go back to mommy's belly." "Pearl, what are you talking about?" The soft voice of the little boy became dignified in a second, and a thin layer of anger spread through his eyebrows. "Hahaha, I'm just kidding!" She realized that the child knew too much, Pearl smiled and changed the topic, "Look, look, the bride is here. Take a picture for your mom, she'll appreciate it." In a daze, he took Pearl's phone to take a few photos. He didn't know that the one sitting in the sedan chair was his mother. It was still cold in March, the sun was shining warmly throughout the day, but in the evening, it became bitterly cold. It was past five o'clock in the afternoon. Samantha hadn't come home yet, and Pearl couldn't cook. After discussing it with Daniel, they ordered pizza. She believed that Samantha and Jonathan had gone on a date, and it was best not to disturb them. After eating the pizza, the two wiped their mouths and went to sleep. Meanwhile, Samantha had drank the green medicine from her father, who was also drugged. She was smeared with heavy makeup and she was stuffed into the sedan chair. After she was paraded about, she was sent back into a room again, still in a semi-conscious state. No one took care of her, and no one asked her if she was hungry. Cassandra was never good enough. The Xiao family really didn't like her, but they couldn't convince their only son, so they had to accept her as his lover. However, she was paranoid that they would be able to convince their son at the last minute. She arranged for a Chinese marriage and kept them from attending, for money and power she couldn't afford to lose Peter to anyone.
