My phone wouldn't stop buzzing, dragging me out of my sleep. Sarah was practically spamming my calls. I took a deep breath and sat up. There was still barely any light outside, faintly seeping through the curtains. "Hey!" Sarah was already yelling the second I answered. "Are you seriously still asleep? Go check the news!" Just like that, I was wide awake. Roughly ten minutes later, I showed up at the second floor of Spring Bar. Sarah was already there, looking like she hadn't slept at all. She had a cold beer in her hand and somehow still looked annoyingly energetic. "Look at this." "Jackson Brown’s true love—a mysterious she-wolf, the woman who’s been by his side for ten years..."
