Thomas stood at the door, gripping a stick, clearly having eavesdropped for a while. He leaned in with wide eyes. “Damn, you were amazing, Ella.”
“You want me to throw him out? Ugh, I swear, no matter what I do, that guy always manages to sneak in…”
He was practically grinding his teeth with frustration. I couldn’t help but smile a little. “Feeling proud of yourself now?”
