“Why are you crying, sis?” Jack asked, glancing back from the driver’s seat.
Ame rolled her eyes. “Jack, seriously, shut up. You’re always so annoying.”
“I want to get out,” Ivy said quietly. “Jack, just drop me somewhere.”
Jack laughed under his breath. “You think I’m Aaron? I’m not gonna do everything you say. Whatever Dad’s doing—it’s for your good, Ivy.”
Ivy turned away and shut her eyes.
