Chapter 8
In a conference room, everyone was discussing a proposal. Aaron was indifferent. He was thinking about Ivy at the time.
He shut his eyes.
Her lips, her movement, the way she moves her hips, and her lovely seductive voice are all in his thoughts. His heart began to pound as he was thinking about her.
Ivy's voice echoed, "Ahh... Uncle."
Mr. Franklin abruptly shook Aaron's shoulder.
"Aaron," hearing him, Aaron regained his senses.
"Yes," he responded quickly.
"Aaron, what's the matter? Are you all right?" Franklin asked.
"Yes, brother," Aaron said.
"But it doesn't appear to be. I think you should come back home, Aaron," Franklin added.
Aaron couldn't even concentrate on his work. When he closed his eyes, all he heard was her sweet voice, and all he saw were her tempting lips.
He drew his eyes shut and said, "Yes, I think I should leave, brother."
"I'm sorry, but I'm having trouble concentrating."
"Go, rest," Franklin responded with a gesture. Aaron got up and walked out of the room.
[Ivy's POV]
I was walking toward the class, and at that moment, Ame came out of nowhere. Ame was gasping.
"Ame, why are you in such a hurry?" I asked, raising my brows.
"Do you know how cool our new ma'am is? She's our music instructor," she stated.
"I've also heard she's a bit too hot. In fact, some have claimed that another Ivy is here," she added.
"They even compared her to you," Ame said.
"What?" I asked, frowning.
Someone abruptly grabbed my waist from behind.
"What the heck?" I said as I turned around.
"Hey, sweetie, take it easy. Why are you so angry?" Joe said.
I tried to loosen his grip, but it was hard.
"Please leave me alone," I said.
"What's the matter? Did I give you disturb?" Joe asked.
"No, but I'm not in the mood," I replied.
As I walked out of there and into my classroom, Joe's hand loosened. After a few moments, they came. I sat at my seat, ignoring Joe.
"I think she's in a bad mood," Ame murmured to Joe.
"I get what you mean. What, though, happened?" he asked, his voice hushed.
"Don't bother asking me. It's a little personal."
Suddenly, a young lady entered the room.
"Good morning, students. I'm Arona D'Souza, your music instructor." She introduced herself.
Ame tapped me on the shoulder and remarked, "She is truly exceptional."
"They compared her with you."
I checked her from head to toe. She couldn't possibly compare to me in any way. But, her name! It reminded me of someone I had seen before.
But Arona was chubby, and I couldn't remember her face. I observed that every boy was staring at her intently and conversing with her. Meanwhile, I turned back and said, "What's so special about her?"
"You, brown-haired girl," she said abruptly.
I turned to face her, knowing she called me by such a name.
"Yes."
She said, "What is your name?"
"Ivy Lebeau," I replied. She smiled warmly at me.
"So you're Mr. Franklin's daughter?" she asked.
"Yes, I am."
"Do you know how to play the violin?"
"Nope."
"Any kind of instruments?" She asked.
"No way," I said emphatically.
"Actually, I'm not into music."
"Why did you join then?" She asked.
"It's due to my loved one," I replied. Aaron was a music fanatic. I came there to learn how to play the violin.
When everyone heard Ivy's statement, they all glanced at her.
"Wow, interesting," Ms. Arona replied, "so, I'm going to start it right now."
Arona took a seat in a chair. She was dressed in a sheath dress.
I noticed her carefully. She had a great, attractive shape as well as a waist.
When she was seated, all of the boys' gazes were fixed on her. She sat up, one leg pressing down on the other. I watched everyone's jaws drop when they noticed her bare legs.
"See," Ame said softly, "she's seducing everyone."
"I don't give a damn."
"She can't even touch me, honey," I smirked at Ame.
"Let her do as she feels good."
After a while, I started loving her class and trying to figure out how I would play my violin in front of Aaron. Gradually, time passed and the class ended. I was ready to walk out of the room after class, but Joe dragged me into a room.
"What's the matter with you?" I asked.
"What's the matter with me? Ivy, what's the matter with you? Why are you acting this way?" Joe asked.
"I'm not in the mood, Joe, and I have to go home," I said.
"What's wrong, Ivy? Just tell me," he said, his eyes hardening.
"Nothing, I'm just tired," I replied.
After saying this, I bolted from the place as quickly as I could.
When I returned home, I spotted my mom taking medicine to Aaron's room. I got to know that he had a fever.
I was agitated because he was okay in the morning.
So, I said, "Mom, give me that medicine. I will give it to him."
I took the tray and stepped inside. Aaron was sleeping peacefully. I breathed heavily as I looked at his sleepy face.
Handsome!
A Greek god!
Aaron was sleeping, so I thought to freshen up first as I thought I walked out of the room. When I was about to cross the hall room, I heard a girl's voice.
"Excuse me."
I turned back, "Yes."
I checked her from head to toe.
She said, "Can I meet Mr. Franklin?"
I arched one eyebrow and remarked, "No, Dad hasn't come yet. But who are you?"
"Oh, you're brother's daughter. Hello, my name is Roxina," she said.
Hearing her name, I widened my eyes.
I took a quick glance at his door before turning to face her.
"Yes, you can tell me. What do you want?" I said, a forceful smile on my face.
"You can't help me with this, sweetheart," she added with a smile. Hearing her, I narrowed my eyes.
"You can simply tell me."
"Can I have a seat?" she said, smiling.
"Of course."
"Is your uncle here?" she asked, with a nod.
I said quickly, "Nope, he isn't here."
She nodded slowly when she heard it, as it seemed she wasn't expecting this response.
"Now, please tell me," I said as I sat down alongside her on the couch.
"What's your name?" she asked, chuckling.
"Ivy," after saying my name, I quickly asked, "Don't you want to tell me?"
She burst out laughing when she heard me.
I made a grumpy face.
"Ivy, I think I have to tell you."
"But could you kindly inform your mother here?"
I gazed up at the ceiling.
"All right," I said as I dashed into her room.
"Mom."
"Ivy, what's the matter? Can't you come slowly?" Mom snarled.
"No, Mom, I can't," I replied.
"Someone is waiting for you. She is eager to meet Uncle. But Uncle has a fever and is asleep. So I told her that my uncle was not at home. Now she wants to speak with you."
"But who?" Mom asked, her face puzzled.
"Roxina!"
As soon as Mom heard Roxina, she dashed downstairs.
"Roxina," she smiled as she welcomed her.
"Sister," she said with a smile, and they hugged.
"Franklin said you would come, Roxina. What's the matter, dear?" Mom asked.
"Actually, sis, I want to say it in front of everyone," she said, looking down. "I would rather not create any misunderstanding."
"Is everything okay?" Mom asked.
Roxina paused for a moment. I couldn't wait to hear from her. I didn't understand why she was taking so long.
