One hour later, I reunited with Mom and Dad at the airport.
They knew that Arthur and I were divorced. Their eyes were bloodshot as they sighed.
"If I knew that things would've ended up this way, I would never have let you marry him."
I didn't have the right to say anything because I was the one who'd chosen to ignore all the wealthy heirs in Chesterfield at the time. I was the one who chose Arthur—someone who had nothing to his name.
The flight to Soldana was long. After we touched down, we took a cab to the hotel that we would be staying in temporarily.
At first, I thought that I wouldn't be able to adapt to this place. But surprisingly, I fell in love with Soldana the very next day.
While spending time with Mom and Dad exploring the new city, I also sold off the jewelry that Arthur returned to me to buy a house for all of us.
It was a bungalow in the heart of the city. It had a huge balcony and a bright and beautiful view. Soon, Mom and I began planting our favorite flowers
