Miles was completely lost in thought on his way home.

James had a bandage on his forehead and a limp, yet somehow he was still humming like nothing happened.
Miles figured he'd be shaken up a bit—anyone else nearly getting killed would be, right? But James? Dude looked like psychological trauma just didn't apply to him.
