Trey's POV
Earlier that morning
I knew there was a traitor in our midst. I had my suspicions last night, and by morning, I had a plan to expose him. Before we even left our hideout, I was determined to deal with him. One of us wasn’t making it back today, and I’d make damn sure it was him.
I wasn’t going to kill him myself. That would be too merciful. Instead, I’d leave him behind like the worthless coward he is. Once the Red Crescent warriors found him near their perimeter wall, they’d take care of the rest. His blood would be on their hands, not mine.
He deserves to die for turning on me.
