Everything felt normal, but nothing was the same.
The sadness that had reigned in his heart still lingered, he could feel it, gnawing at his flesh, consuming him little by little. He knew why it stayed, so prominent, so dense, he knew why and yet he could do nothing to alleviate or exterminate it.
It seems that sadness was there to remind him of everything he had lost just to gain, everything that left him in a deep pit of pain, he felt like crying, but no tears would come, so instead, he resorted to apologizing for everything he had done.
