"So, what? You want a divorce?" Logan's voice was barely above a whisper, but the word seemed to echo in the room.
Deonna closed her eyes, feeling the weight of the moment. "I think... I think we need to seriously consider it. For both our sakes, and for the baby's."
The silence that followed was heavy with the enormity of what had just been said. Logan sank back into his chair, his face a mask of shock and disbelief.
"I need some air," he mumbled, standing abruptly and heading for the door.
