After leaving the city hall, Gabriel caught up to Marissa and reached out to hold her hand. "Marissa, are you really willing to marry me?" Marissa stood still so that she wouldn't bump against Gabriel's embrace. "Why? Are you saying no?" His eyes lit up, and the corners of his mouth curved up into a pleased smile. "I'm saying yes! Of course, I'll say yes. I'll say yes a thousand or even a million times. Just you wait and see, Marissa. I'll give you everything that Joshua didn't. What kind of wedding do you want? What about your dress? Do you want a designer dress, or would you prefer to design your own? Do you have a venue in mind?" Gabriel was usually a man of few words, but he was babbling excitedly like a child at the idea of marrying her. He fired off plenty of questions. It was as if he couldn't wait for it all to come true. He seemed impatient to give her the best of everything. Marissa smiled and looked at him warmly. "I'm okay with anything. I trust you'll plan it well."
