Silas stepped forward with a light sneer on his lips. "Evan, is this your homeroom teacher?"
Eloise finally noticed the refined-looking man standing behind them. His presence was no less commanding than Henry's uncle's from earlier.
She stammered slightly. "And who are you?"
"I'm Evan's uncle. Miss, you're quite young, but you've already mastered the art of looking down on people."
He then calmly made a phone call. "Mr. Walsh, I need to review the surveillance footage from the first-grade hallway. Yes, my nephew got into a fight with a classmate, and their homeroom teacher is being unreasonable, so I'd like to see what actually happened.
"Don't worry. We'll pay whatever medical fees are owed, but anyone who owes my nephew an apology won't be let off either."
Eloise visibly panicked. She hadn't expected Evan's family to have direct connections with the principal, Avery Walsh.
