Aria's POV
“Enough,” Kale said gently. “We’re not here to fight.”
Raven glared at me, but she fell silent, walking ahead of us now.
As we reached the large doors to the garden, Kale opened the door. My breath caught in my throat, and my eyes widened in awe.
“Woah,” I whispered, gazing around in amazement.
The garden was breathtaking. The flowers had bright colors, and they had sweet scents.
The garden was quiet and cool in the evening, and a gentle breeze moved the leaves on the trees. The walls around the garden were covered with green vines. There was a small fountain in the garden that made splashing sounds as water flowed gently.
I stepped outside, turning slowly in a circle, to take it all in.
Everything felt calm and still, like a peaceful place to rest.
There was a comfortable silence for a moment.
“Where’s Viktor?” I broke the silence, glancing at Kale.
“He’ll join us soon,” he said.
