Aria’s POV
Hazel unwrapped the bandages slowly, revealing burns and cuts that looked very painful. I placed my hands over the damaged skin and let my healing magic flow through her.
The warmth spread from my hands into her wounds. The skin began to knit itself back together, the horrible red burns fading to pink, then to normal skin tone. Within minutes, her skin looked like nothing had ever happened.
“Holy shit,” Hazel breathed, staring at her healed hands in amazement. “That’s fucking incredible.”
“You’re a fucking miracle worker,” Hazel said, touching her face in wonder.
I still had lots of energy when I was done. “I’m okay,” I told Knox before he could protest. “Let’s keep going.”
Hunter was next. His shoulder wound was more serious. He had deep puncture marks that had gotten infected. I spent more time on him, carefully healing the infection first, then sealing the wounds. When I finished, he could move his arm without pain for the first time in days.
