"Harold!" Stephen and Daniel scolded him in unison, trying to rein him in.

"We'll accept your second condition!" Harold repeated loudly. "But only that one!"
Demi's gaze turned cold. "Let's get something straight: you're the ones begging me. I'm not here asking for favors. You don't get to negotiate with me. You can take it or leave it. And let me remind you—the longer you wait, the less likely your precious Alex will ever walk again."
