Hearing Louise's voice finally put Dominic at ease. “Just got out of a meeting,” he said. “Don’t wear yourself out, okay? Read for an hour, then stretch a bit. Got it?”
Louise couldn’t help but laugh. “You sound like a nagging mother,” she teased.
Dominic chuckled too—he really had been fussing over her like he was raising a teen daughter lately.
