Chapter 14 House of Mirrors.

“Hey, don't play that with me.” Laura warned and I spread out my arms dramatically.
“What? I wasn't doing anything.”
“Oh, Tea.” She laughed. “I know what you are trying to do, but you win this round. The pirate ship is up next.”
When we had gotten on the merry-go-round, Laura had made videos of us with her phone. However,she didn't even suggest it this time.
“We are not taking any pictures here?” I asked, staring innocently at her.
“I guess. I have to focus on the height, and I can't make a video at the same time.” She sighed.
Trying to stifle a laugh, I nodded at Laura and we fixed the barricade that kept us in place.
Left to me, I would have loved to sit closer to the end of the ship, but after considering Laura's fear of heights, I agreed to stay in the middle with her.
At first, the ship started slowly, and it was enjoyable, rocking forward and backward. However, just as Laura and every other person on the ship began to relax, it picked up the pace.
