Without paying any attention to Brisa and the other two, Deborah headed straight back to the Western restaurant.
As they arrived at the entrance of the restaurant, a call came in.
She hurried behind the counter to answer the phone. "Hello, dad."
"Deborah, what are you up to? Why have you been going out so often lately?" asked Paislee gently.
Deborah lowered her eyes guiltily and replied, "Um... my friend invited me to go shopping with her."
As soon as she finished speaking, a frivolous voice came from the side, "Oh? When you say 'friend', are you referring to me?"
Deborah was momentarily startled and looked up to see Rowan standing at the entrance of the restaurant, leering at her.
She was speechless.
Luck was not favoring her today. It seemed like she was running into all sorts of trouble.
Deborah hung up the phone and frowned at Rowan. "What are you here for?" she asked.
"What else?" Rowan smirked. "Of course I'm here to dine!"
After speaking, he frivolously pointed at Deborah's work
