Bellatrix and Damien first met at a Lakefront. It was a private resort. Only those with enough wealth and influence could enter. She and many other students of Hall-throne academy had gone there for an excursion. It was there she came across some of the bullies trying to shove him into the water. She stood up for him, driving the bullies away, or at least, she'd tried to. She punched one in the nose—a decision she later came to regret as it immediately hurt like a bitch—and kicked the other in the shin. Her height however, wasn't as solid as her retaliation and one thing led to another and she and Damien, along with the bullies, ended up in the water of the lakefront, soaked from head to toe. That day left a marker in Bellatrix's mind, because it was then she discovered she didn't know how to swim! Thankfully, Damien was there to help.
