When Anna returned home, she immediately had a high fever that wouldn’t subside. Jonathan came home, still drunk, and saw her unconscious with flushed cheeks. He immediately panicked. He quickly picked her up and rushed her to the hospital. When Anna regained consciousness, she slowly lifted her heavy eyelids and struggled to open her eyes. Seeing her wake up, the nurse who was changing her bandages couldn’t contain her joy. “Mrs. Jonathan, you’re awake! You’ve been burning with fever for a whole day and night. Mr. Jonathan was so worried, he stayed by your side the entire time. He only left after he received a phone call. Do you want me to go get him?
