CHAPTER 238 SILENT TREATMENT
It was evening and dark outside.
Claire ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner in one seat.
If she hadn’t been so in a bad mood, she would have complimented Elora’s cooking because it had her clearing the plates.
The only thing she can seem to agree with Hudson is that he has Elora as her chef.
She was lying in bed now, staring up at the ceiling. As much as she didn’t want to be cooped up here, she didn’t want to go outside and see those two hovering around her like flies.
It just reminded her of how trapped she is.
The days passed in Hudson’s territory with nothing to do; if only she could just go into the woods and run again to feel the grass under her paws.
She would give anything to have that experience again.
Outside the door, she could hear the sounds of people talking. It couldn’t be Adam and Elora because they had refused to leave the vicinity of the entrance door, living room, and kitchen, respectively.
The voices continued until they finally seized.
