Alysia’s POV
It was a long ass day, and while I wanted what was left of it to come to an end already, I knew deep down it couldn't be that easy. There was so much to do, and so little time, and it hurt so much thinking about it. In fact, the more I tried to not think about it, the more it haunted my thoughts. It didn't make any sense, and it didn't help either that no matter how hard I tried to put two and two together, nothing could excuse the fact that we'd let it slip through our fingers.
Despite all the security and what not, someone had managed to break through our defenses, and attacked us from the inside. We had a traitor in our midst and the mere thought of it was nauseating to say the least.
