“Is that all you got?” I yelled hard at the guard facing me off a couple of feet away. From the lazy stance he took, it was pretty clear that he was tired, but I knew he wouldn't outrightly tell me he was ready to give up. “Come on, fight me. Fight me.”
The guard rushed at me again. Unlike our last training session, he had one sword instead of two. Perhaps the fact that he had opted for one should have given me even it was a tiny bit of relief, but it didn't. Why? His new sword was definitely sharper and longer than the last, the tip of the blade catching the sunlight every now and then.
I allowed the guard to come close, dangerously close, and just when he was about to strike, I blocked his move. Training had become ten times easier ever since I found out I could predict my opponents move before hand. It wasn't exactly easy at the first few trials, but I liked to think I was starting to get a hang of it
