"You're lying." Alvis stated gently. He stopped them and turned to her, looking into her eyes for the truth. "Who?" "No one." "Jacie." His was loosing his patience. He wanted to know who he had to punish for messing with his mate. "Uh, well they haven't said anything to me. I just over heard them talking about me." "Who?" "I think her name was Rachel." The moment the name escaped her mouth, she knew that something was wrong. The way that his frown deepen, confirmed that there was some type of history between the two, and she wasn't sure she could handle what it was. "Ignore her." Alvis spoke annoyed. "Who is she?" Jacie asked, "Is she an ex?" "No!" Alvis growled causing Jacie to flinch, "Sorry, no. She's not. She's a pain in my ass." "Ok?"
