They'd agreed to be husband and wife for three days.
But Sebastian was barely around. Even when he was home, he spent most of his time holed up in the study, buried in work.
At night, he was hardly ever in the villa.
Every evening, he left, always returning before dawn. After his shower, he'd quietly hold Chloe in his arms, lull her to sleep with soft lullabies. Those three short days, he squeezed out every spare moment, pouring all his energy into giving their daughter some memories of fatherly love.
