In the soft glow of the evening sun slipping into the bedroom, Elaria lay fast asleep, clearly tired out.
Sebastian had slipped on his pants, his shirt loosely draped with only a couple of buttons done, just enough to hang on. Even with the scars marring one of his arms from old injuries, he still had that effortlessly alluring vibe.
He'd quit smoking for the sake of trying for another baby. Standing there by the window, he ran his fingers gently through her jet-black hair as he stared at the amber sunlight outside, still caught in the lingering intensity from earlier.
