William Turner’s gaze flickered.
There was so much he wanted to say, but when the words reached his lips, they suddenly felt too awkward.
They were technically married for just a month, and then separated for two and a half years. The person hadn’t changed, but those sweet lines he once said with ease now felt out of place. It just didn’t fit anymore.
