CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FOUR - THE FAREWELL TRAP
"Luna, Miss Anna," she said hesitantly, "I've been doing an inventory of our supplies. With all the extra people we've been housing... we're running dangerously low on food."
Freya's face fell. "How bad is it?"
"At the current rate, we'll be out of food in two days. Maybe three if we stretch it," Marta replied.
A heavy silence fell over the room. The blizzard showed no signs of letting up, and there was no way to know when they'd be able to resupply.
Anna was the first to speak. "We need to ration what we have left. And... we need to share."
Freya looked at her questioningly. "Share?"
Anna nodded. "There are people in the village who are probably worse off than we are. If we pool our resources, set up some kind of community kitchen, we might be able to stretch our supplies further and help those in need."
For a moment, Freya was quiet, considering the idea. Then, slowly, she began to nod. "You're right. As Luna, it's my responsibility to look after all of Ulfheim, not just those
