ELORA'S POV
After a long and exhausting day at work, I found myself driving toward Lucian’s mansion.
My thoughts are heavy and my heart aches for just one person at the moment…my daughter. It's been days since I saw her, and the distance is starting to eat at me. I told myself I wouldn't bother reaching out anymore, but for some reason unknown to me, I find myself doing the complete opposite.
So I decided to stop by a store on my way to pick up her favorite snacks, a few colorful accessories, and the drink she loved the most.
When I arrived, the mansion stood as grand and tall as ever. I saw four of Lucian’s cars in the garage, but his favorite one seems to be missing.
It seems the Moon Goddess decided to take me seriously when I prayed not to lay my eyes on him.
I pushed the front door open and walked in, balancing the bags of gifts in my arms. The familiar scent of lavender hit me the minute I stepped in, wrapping around me with that bittersweet familiarity.
