As soon as they got off the plane, Victoria took Peyton directly to the front door of Dante Wise, her father's house. Peyton, on the other hand, felt a bit surprised. "Are you sure you haven't come to the wrong place?" During their three years of marriage, he had hardly heard Victoria mention her family. If it weren't for the background check he had conducted before their wedding, he would have thought Victoria was an orphan. After all, the two of them hadn't even held a wedding ceremony, let alone met each other's parents. "No way! You're just here to make up the numbers." Upon hearing Victoria's words, Peyton furrowed his brow and looked at her, speaking with an undeniable anger. "Do you really see me as your caretaker?"
