As Klaus's car sped silently down the winding forest road away from the Royal Pack House, the tension between them was thick.
The words he'd just spoken hung in the air like a weight.
"I'm a werewolf, Georgina. My whole family—we're all werewolves."
Georgina hadn't recovered from the shock yet.
Klaus gripped the steering wheel tighter.Alex was restless,urging him to fix this, to make her understand.

"Gina'," he finally broke the silence."I know you don't want to hear more, but I need you to understand what this means—what we are to each other."
She stared out the window, jaw tight with tension. "What we are to each other is a lie, Klaus."
"No," he said firmly, turning onto the private road that led to their cottage. "What I feel for you is the most honest thing in my life." He pulled the car to a stop in front of their home
