Edward Hawthorne’s lips curled into a cold sneer as he spoke into his comms, ordering security to seal off all exits of the villa and block off the main gate of the community.
He walked downstairs, picked up his phone, and dialed both Alice Sterling and Jessica Lane in turn—no one answered.
Soon, security called back one after another: no signs of Alice anywhere.
His eyes swept icily across the household staff before he dialed William Brooks. "Track Alice’s phone IP and send me the location. Now."
William didn’t quite get why, but followed Edward’s order. Within minutes, the last known location of the SIM card was sent over.
Edward wasted no time—he had the driver follow the map straight to the park, while instructing William to keep an eye on the signal. If it moved, he wanted to know immediately.
