Chapter 277
Alice Sterling had no idea where she was right now.
It felt like she was suspended in mid-air. All around her was a blinding whiteness, the ground beneath her strangely soft and unsteady. Every step she took made her feel like she was on the verge of floating away, only to land lightly again as if she were walking on clouds.
Like stepping on cotton candy.
Then, a voice echoed in the emptiness, unfamiliar and distant.
“Alice Sterling, is this where you wanted to be?”
