"That won't be necessary!" Giselle exclaimed. 
She didn't lash out at Gideon, but she didn't want to listen to anything he had to say either.
With the same sarcastic smile on her face, she said, "I've seen everything with my own eyes, and I understand the predicament you're in. The person you should be focusing on is your child—not me. I think we should call off our marriage for now."
After she finished speaking, she turned to leave. 
"Giselle!" Gideon's eyes welled up with tears as he reached out and grabbed her arm. "You have to believe me. I've never lied to you. I only found out about the child two days ago. Please give me some time—"
"That's enough," she cut him off. 
With a bitter smile, she continued, "I feel like our decision to get married was too rushed. Aside from the fact that you're adopted by Ethan, I know nothing about you. I think we should both be more mature and choose to do the right thing."
She tried to yank her arm away from him, but he didn't want to loosen
