Then Denise saw Logan stride in with a fierce look on his face. He was in a suit, sure, but the tie was hanging loose, his shirt wrinkled, and a strong whiff of alcohol followed him in—looked like he came straight from a bar. Who knew what shady place he’d been at.
"Logan, you’re the damn VP. When there’s a meeting, you show up on time. Do you even respect the clock anymore?" Jason snapped, his voice like a whip.

"Jason, don’t start lecturing me. I’ve got my own score to settle with you!" Logan growled, pushing out his chest, totally defiant.
