50 Car Accident
Calantha pulled Freiherr’s hand away, took a deep breath, and said,
"I know you're angry, but it wasn't me."
She tried to convince him, but she could see the anger in his body and the flames in his eyes.
It was like Freiherr needed someone to vent it on. He wanted to believe she wasn’t the one who reported him to his mom, but he didn’t see any reason to.
Calantha tried calming him down, but she felt stupid, knowing that no matter what she did, he wasn’t going to listen to her.
Freiherr said, "We need to ensure this doesn't happen again. Over the next few days, I'll allocate two hours each day to address company matters that require my attention. I don't want to create any more problems, and I hope you won't either."
Stepping back, she lowered her head and focused on the ground, saying,
"I got it. I'll handle it for you."
After speaking, Freiherr grabbed his tie and walked out of the office. He had returned just to deal with the shareholders.
