When Marley woke up, she vaguely remembered Aiden coaxing her out of the car and back to her room. As soon as he helped her under the covers, she passed out again. She sat up on her elbows, blinking her empty room into focus. It was still light outside. She reached blindly for the edge of her bunk where she charged her phone at night to check the time. It was 5:00 pm, was the first thing she noticed.
