Marley didn't like to think of herself as having low self-esteem. But looking at the other girls here, all beautiful in their special ways; Gabby, whose blonde hair caught the sun beautifully and curling around her face like a halo, was a goddess in this sunlight. She didn't want to put negative thoughts into her head, but Marley couldn't help but think of how ordinary she looked surrounded by such extraordinary people. Her head lifted, for some reason. Instinctively, her eyes caught on the bodies climbing onto the bus and shoving each other. Aiden was among them. She didn't look at him for longer than a second. Marley curled her knees up under her chin, allowing her hair to fall in front of her face naturally. She could feel the vibrations of their bodies moving around and finding their seats. Everyone on the bus seemed to quiet down, like servants would when royalty entered the room. "Everyone! Eyes up here!" Conners fa
