#Chapter 86 - Black Out
I couldn’t breathe.
I couldn’t think—shit! I could hardly even see within three feet in front of me. My vision had become completely obscured by the amount of tears that came flooding down my face.
Worst of all, my heart ached in a way I hadn’t felt since I attended my dad’s funeral.
I couldn’t bear it. I didn’t want to think anymore for fear that it would cause my whole body to shut down.
After walking out on Lorenzo back in the study, I half-hazardly stumbled through the hallway in search of an empty bedroom. I noticeably caught the attention of multiple staff members who all bore the same look of concern and shock when they saw me.
“Miss Wright?”
“Luna?”
“Eleanor? Are you alright?”
I swiftly waved them all off, signally that I needed to be alone.
As much as I appreciated their genuine concern for my well-being, it only caused my emotional state to take another drop. This wasn’t how I wanted the pack to see me.
