Lorenzo carefully took the rings out of the case and handed them over to Eleanor for the moment. Turning his attention back toward the small, velvet box, he gently shook it again and swiftly concluded that there had to be something inside. Both Eleanor and Lorenzo shared a look of confusion. What the hell could be making such a noise? He held up the box to the light fixture, hanging above them and gingerly inspected it with a sharp gaze. Lorenzo barely spotted a small silk tab that was tucked at the bottom of the box. “I think I found something,” he said. He carefully worked the tab free and pulled it out to reveal that the ring had possessed a false bottom. Inside the hidden compartment, was a small USB flash drive.
