Once Lorenzo was cleared to return home and was feeling like his old self again, he and I were finally able to commit to our bonding ceremony. It was a gorgeous summer day, the back courtyard was swimming with flowers and white ribbons.
Of course, due to the sudden delay of the original date of the ceremony, my stomach had grown quite a bit since then. I had no choice but to have my dress altered a bit to accommodate my new measurements. But I didn’t mind.
