Chapter 6342
Philip was not afraid at all. He knew that someone would target him, but they were just losers. They might be influential, but they were nothing in his eyes. He did not want to cause trouble, but it did not mean he would let anyone insult him.
Philip and the others quickly found a tavern that looked quite high-end.
“This place looks interesting.”
Philip found the various decorations quite novel and knew it would not be cheap.
“I don’t think it’s so easy to find any important information here. Just look at the customers and you’ll know that we’ll spend a bomb,” Carlos marveled at the price tag.
Adam looked at the menu curiously and was quickly surprised to see how expensive it was for a pot of tea.
“A pot of tea costs thousands of crystals?”
Adam almost had a meltdown at the price.
“Look at the requirements stated on the menu. Each person has to order a minimum of a pot of tea. Anything less than that and we’re not welcomed.”
Adam shook his head helplessly and suddenly felt that this tavern was very dodgy. At this rate, they would go broke in no time.
“As I left in a hurry, I probably only have enough money for a few pots of tea. It’ll be embarrassing if we can’t find any information during this time,” Carlos said helplessly.
Carlos was at a loss. They left too hastily. No one would expect to spend so much money in a secret realm.
Adam sighed. As a person of high status, he never carried a lot of money on him either.
“This is awkward. If I’d known earlier, I would've taken all my money with me to avoid such embarrassment.”
Adam sighed helplessly and looked at Carlos in embarrassment.
Philip shook his head helplessly. If the others did not carry much money on them, he had to rely on himself. “Don’t worry if you don’t have money. I do.”
Philip walked into the tavern with Rabbit in his arms.
Although the tea was very expensive, it was crowded with customers ready to spend money.
Philip was very lucky to find a vacant private room because someone canceled the booking by chance.
“Dear customers, you’re very lucky that someone just canceled their booking. They wouldn’t have left so easily if they didn’t have something important to attend to.”
The waiter noticed their unfamiliar faces and emphasized the point.
Philip was puzzled and could not figure out why so many people were so eager to spend money here.
