The following morning I'd woken up, Jonathan was out of bed. He'd left a note that he had somethings to take care of and would be back shortly.
"That leaves us with Alena" I muttered, climbing down from my bed as I moved to Alena's room to prepare her for school but she was already up and dressed. "You're up early"
"Yeah, I've decided today is the day I tell Asher about my feelings for him. Prom is this Friday and I need to know my fate" She spluttered. "How do I look?. How is breathe?. Is something stuck in my teeth?-"
"Hold on just a minute, young lady" I say, puzzled. "Take in a deep breathe because I can barely make out a word you're saying" She does as I'd advised. "Now, you were saying?"
"I'm going to tell Asher about my feelings for him today and as you can see.." Alena let out a heavy sigh. "I'm quite nervous"
"It's normal to be nervous, sweetie" I admit. "But don't let your nervousness ruin the moment. You've got this"
