Reluctant Farewell

As the car was moving far away from the palace and the city, I was also feeling as if something important was getting far away from me. As I looked at the scenery which was vibrant with life and looked so beautiful when we arrived, it turned dull and lost its beauty. It was as if nature and everything around the empire was feeling sadness along with me. As if they are weeping about me leaving. To tell the truth it hurt so much, my heart, soul and entire body ached with a gnawing pain. I just feel pain all over, a torment I can't describe, it ravaged me. I just know it was unbearable but I have to stay strong for myself and grandfather.
