Jeanette didn't respond. Instead, she fell into a deep sleep, completely unaware that William waited hours for her reply.
Early the next morning, she got up, grabbed her marriage certificate, and headed to the hospital.
No matter how things turned out, she had to be there since Cordelia was getting discharged. The latter had always been the one who truly cared for her.
When she arrived at the hospital, William was handling the discharge procedures. She ran into him the moment she stepped through the doors.
