Selena’s POV I couldn’t take the tension, so I pulled myself up and walked towards them. I saw how Elias’s eyes shifted on me, informing Alex about my arrival. Alex’s jaw clenched as he immediately wrapped his arm around my waist and leaned down. “What do you want to eat?” I looked up at him. His eyes were dark and his expression didn’t look good. It was like something triggered him, and it’s Elias’s presence. “Anything,” I whispered. I just wanted to get him away from Elias because I feel like they’re having a silent fight. “You seemed to have a lot of work,” Alex said as he started putting food on the plate he’s holding.
