Natalie wasn't hungry yet, so she was going to make do with some buns. She began, "I had an early breakfast—"
"I haven't had my lunch," Lucian cut in. "There's a restaurant there. Let's go there and have something to eat."
"It's okay," she said. "I'm almost done."
"Just come." Ignoring her answer, Lucian picked up her bag from the bench and strode to the restaurant.
Natalie had no choice but to pack her buns in the paper bag and follow him to the restaurant.
The waiter recommended a few signature dishes. "We're famous for barbeque pork ribs, poached fish, honey-glazed pork belly, pan-seared pork belly, and sauteed beef and celery."
"I want everything except the last one," said Lucian, handing the menu to the waiter.
"Sauteed beef and celery is one of our restaurant's most famous signature dishes. Why don't you give it a try?" suggested the waiter.
"I don't like celery," Lucian responded.
"Oh, all right." The waiter nodded with a smile.
